What you are about to see is not the first ever appearance of the Ever Curious Cartoon Rob. It is however the first cartoon of note.
Notice, this was actually made before he was known as Cartoon Rob. You might say this is Cartoon Rob's "Steamboat Willie." This cartoon was from a fail project that was supposed to end up as an activity book of sorts. The book was to contain puzzles and cartoons, often both together. In case you do not have the patients to solve this difficult puzzle, the answer is below:
"Silly Rob, Your Hat Is On Your Head! Are You Drunk?
The above two images were going to serve as the introduction to the characters in the aforementioned activity book. Rob, Vin, Nate, Chris, Tom and Steve. The names of the characters all changed soon after the plans for the activity book was canceled. They continue to be drawn mostly the same, but slight modification are often made to match real life inspiration.
More of the activity book was produced, but the content was not up to the quality set out to be reached from the beginning.
One day, it will be brought to light.
Today is not that day.
